Nyheter på gång!



Det här har legat i pipelinen i flera år, att färga vitt ullgarn. Det är lite för stickigt att sticka vantar av så jag tänkte sticka och valka tofflor av det. Då är inte vitt den optimala färgen. När det så dök upp tre härvor till med vitt ullgarn med Sunes senaste garndonation tog jag tag i saken. Eftersom grönskan utomhus då hade försvunnit fick det bli en första test med att färga med kaffesump.

Det är mycket arbete med att först samla ihop nästan ett kilo kaffesump. Efter det är det en hel del arbete med att förbereda garnet inför färgningen. Sedan är det en del arbete med själva färgningen. Med tanke på allt arbete hade jag väl hoppats på lite starkare färg, men tofflorna kommer absolut att uthärda smutsen från golven bättre. När jag kommit till vägs ände, färdiga tofflor, lovar jag att visa hur de blir.

Regnbågsmössor


Bland A:s garndonationer fanns lila reflexgarn. Det måste förstås användas i mössor. Två regnbågsmössor i vuxenstorlek såldes i samband med Urkultfestivalen 2019. Nu är det gula bomullsgarnet förmodligen slut. Kanske går det att hitta några snuttar gult till. Annars är den längst ner till höger, den sista som inte är färdigstickad, den sista regnbågsmössan på ett tag. Tusen tack A för reflexgarnet! De andra garnerna kommer om jag inte minns fel från Britt- Marie och Zontakvinnorna bland annat. Stort tack till alla er andra också!

Återutlåning januari 2020

Det har visserligen tagit nästan 10 år men nu är det ett självspelande piano. Varje månad kommer det runt 1000 dollar i återbetalningar som bara kan rulla ut i världen och göra nytta igen, och igen och igen. Visst är det fantastiskt att det kan vara så enkelt att göra skillnad i världen!
